168 hybrids for FTR?

Anyone using the Berger 168gr Hybrids for FTR? What sort of velocities are achievable with a 30" barrel. Im shooting the 155.5 fullbores now and might switch next season to something a little heavier. I hear the 168 hybrids are great. Any other bullets I should consider while staying with a .050 freebore? Thanks for the info!

I don't run em but talked to several guys that do. They were over 2900 ftps using Varget but im sure H4895 would work well also. I don't know what their freebore length was but i think they were running 11 or 12 twist barrels if i remember correctly.

Shoot great in my palma rifle with 46.3 of Varget, getting around 2,920fps. My chamber is cut for the 185 Bergers and I use a 1:11.25 twist.

I've shot some small groups at 300 with 46.2 grains of Varget. With your freebore you might be better off with 4895 as stated.

I was thinking the same thing with the shorter freebore and H4895.
