Old-ish Post but, after doing some Research for, Best Powder / Loads for, a 1-8 twist, 22 inch, .22-250 Rem. I've come to the Conclusion that, IMR 8208 xbr would Be, a Great choice as,..
1) Very Temp Stable,.. SWEET ! ( Sick of , H-380,.. in the Summer !! )
2) Low "Fill" Powder and fairly Fast, Burning rate ( Close to, H-4895 and Varget )
3) lots of reports on Awesome, Accuracy w/ 50 to, 70 grain, Bullet Weights.
Hogdon Has, Data ! ( I'll be working Up Loads for, the 60 gr. NBT's with, IMR 8208 at, 3400-3500 fps ).
Should work, "Okay", in a 16 inch Barrel But,.. IDK for, sure !
Good Luck !
