155 SMK .308 load

I would not Freat too much about the actual jump of this Particular Bullet ( 2155) it is a very Resilient bullet for bullet jump. I have done some testing with it for this and it just seems to shoot extremely well at just about anything you can do to it. .015 off. to .090 off... Just load up test ammo 45gr to 47gr of Varget or N140 and shoot it.
If I got in a Jam and could not test. I would load up 46gr and go shoot a match knowing the combo would not be holding me back. It would be all ME the shooter with lack of Practice and position work.
This is why I went with the 2155s after pulling my hair out over Hornady ELDs both 178 and 155s. Results were just unimpressive no matter what I did. Every once in awhile they would shoot a tight group but nothing consistent. This Howa barrel probably isnt the greatest either but I have seen it shoot nicely with a couple loads. The slight edge in BC the ELDs provide doesnt matter if I can't get them to group well.

I may have made the mistake of learning to reload with an auto trickler. Any advise for getting setup with a thrower?
I just use a simple RCBS uniflow powder measure/stand. 8208 XBR is a really short cut extrude powder that pretty much always throws within .1gr, easily within the .6gr node. An auto trickler works just as well, throwing charges is just faster. Here's the same load in my new Palma gun at 600 yards for the first time today.

Any advice on which thrower is the sort of "standard"?

I'm not sure what the "standard" is. I have an RCBS and Hornady (both came with my presses) and they work just fine for me. Only thing I've had issues with was the hornady micrometer insert I bought. It had way too loose of fit, leading to inconsistent throws.
