135 Bergers right from then start...

Finally got some 135 25 caliber Bergers for my 257 SAUM 35˚ Imp...
They seem to want to shoot pretty good right out of the gate with Retumbo..
They seem to have a shorter bearing surface than the 134 Hornadys do...
I'll run them faster today and see if they behave better than the 134's...

I really like Retumbo in my 6.5 WSM and was happy to find out recently that it has a pretty good flame temp compared to a lot of other popular powders. Looking forward to building a moderately sized 257 for 600 yard comp. Great shooting I’m glad Retumbo is working well for you.

Sounds like your looking for my favorite of all the 25's--- 25-284 Winchester..
If you need to buy a reamer, be sure it's for the lapua, and Peterson brass, unless you plan on using Winchester brass. My old 25-284 reamer is smaller at the base than the newer 25-284 Blackjack reamer is..

I may sell my Manson 25-284 Blackjack reamer. It's cut one chamber and new condition. Doubt I'll build another.

I love mine. Wouldn't trade or sell it. I just won't shoot the barrel out being it's a hunting rifle. It'll be with me for a long time. I'd like to have a 25 CM for my next 257 and see how I like it. It'll be a heavier version (11-12lb). Just don't see needing this reamer for a future build.

I have a 25 Saum in the works with Zack, it’s a rebarrel of Kimber that has some decent wood. Should be fun. I do have a 25x47L, only bullet I shoot out of it is the 110 BiB, it’s been a great rifle, Alex built that one. Been thinking about a 25 creed…. I like that case and brass options, if I built one I’d set that one up for the heavies. Hopefully you post your results when you get yours up and running Preacher, I always enjoy your posts.

I know a 25x47 is very close to a Creed but since when did that matter, lol. They would be built for different bullets.

Plan to try the new 134 ELD-M's and probably Viht N570 first and if not N570 it'll be N565 or RL26. Those Berger 133's and 135's appear to be shooting extremely well in the different 25's also.

I’m using H4831SC and H1000 in my 7 Saum. In the 25 Saum I’ll try those but I’d also like to try N550, N565 and N570. Ive been using more and more Vihtavouri powders….. the 25 Saum reamer being used isn’t set up for the VLDs, gonna try some 110 accubonds. I’m Wanting a walk around light weight hunting rifle with some speed.

My 250 AI is about the same too, but a bit faster, but like you said !!!!!
Seems like I've had them all over the years, but my favorite is the 25-284 Win...
One of them is set up for the 131 BJ, the other shoots the 115 Bergers, but thats a XP-100.

With N570 being such a bulky powder I played around with it a couple days ago to see how much would fit in a case and still be able to seat one of those 134 ELD-M's a decent amount and 68gr of N570 is pretty much it and I was using a 14in drop tube just to get that. Only time will tell but I'm not sure 68gr will max out a 25 SAUM with 134's. May end up with N565. RL26, or even H1000. Alex built a 25 PRC and they're having amazing results with the Berger 133's and 7828ssc.

I saw that project Alex shared, neat! I haven’t even thought about trying 7828ssc. Doesn’t sound like N570 is the ticket…. It’ll be February or so before I get the rifle though, leaves me sometime to prepare. Thankfully Saum brass has been popping up lately.
