You gotta make it for your tailstock. I figure you know the indicator holder is from mighty mag. Every lathe needs a few of those- its my DRO

take a jaw out of your 4 jaw, put an aluminum bar in, dial it in. Drill and bore it until your tailstock slides right in like date night.

You have to make the plate, Very easy, You could make it on a 4 jaw chuck, Or use a Criterion boring head on the mill.

I swear I have seen this EXACT plate somewhere else, used for another purpose. I just can't remember where.

Every tailstock will be a different diameter. It would be tuff to do ahead of time

My POS setup finally gave up the ghost, if you do several…I’d be interested too. My light bar clamp lasted a year. The loosening and tightening to remove the clamp so you could remove whatever you had in the tail stock finally wore out those cast threads. Not made for that.

Mine is only flat on the top where i milled it.
