125 Grn BT/HP 30 cal anyone making these

Looking for 125 grn BT /HP 30 cal bullet , anyone know someone who is making this type of bullet , I bought some from a chap in California a few years back , His name was Bob Cauterucio, He has passed on and someone bought his bullet making equipment.

I tried the Sierra 130 grain and 125 Nosler BTs in my truck gun. The BTs shot better and I loaded the rest of the Sierras for my friend who wanted a reduced load for his Ruger 308. They seemed like both of them were good bullets, not near as good as the custom bullets you described but good.

Midway got a shipment of Speer 125 TNT a few days ago...and had free freight. So I purchased 308 225 and 208 eldm. Looking for custom bullets or plain Jane. Just shooting 308 yesterday, took a target 308 and a 18" AR with a new proof research barrel, only shot heavy 208s and 225s in the AR.
Before Ieft the range thought I'd put some junk ammo through the AR, that I'd loaded some time ago. It was LC 18 & LC primed pulled brass necks buffed to remove lacquer and neck resized. Put a 130 Speer Varmint on top of some W748.
Loaded up the mag with 5 rds of junk ammo...the first 3 went into .088" 5 into .374" Crazy, a fluke! Loaded up another 5 and they went into .4" at 100yds. Mag feed AR 10...the bullets were 15 cents ea, cases pre primed 12 cents cause of the crap all over them, and $14 pound old W748. You never know what a barrel is going to like. I bought many thousands of these and the 125 TNT for the 300 BLK, got a few Chism and Berger 125's. But mant times the cheap bullet will out shoot them.

My short-range BR friends used to use a Speer bullet in their 6PPcs. They worked really well. If I had had them when I was testing for my gun I would have tried them i a heartbeat.

Speer 125 TNT is a flat based bullet but it shoots well.
