123 scenars with h4350 ???

hey guys I have been shooting 130 bergers and h4350 for around 1000 rpunds in my 6.5x47 but have run into a problem I can't find any 130 bergers and have some matchs coming up in near future. so j bought 1000 123 scenars and I'm going to use h4350 with them. does anyone have any load data for these. I know most people use varget and rl15 my gun didn't line varget I tried it first when I bought and never could get it to group good enough. rl15 is to temp sensitive I've heard. In texas you have 70 degree morning and 90-100 degree by lunch sometimes. any advice is welcomed or if there is a on going forum somewhere else a link would work also. thanks ahead of time.

Try 41.0 grains H4350. Usual warnings apply. In my rifle it bugholes using the 123's. Seems to be a low to middle pressure load in my rifle. Steve

That combo is all I shoot out of my 260. 45 Grn is where I am at so caution of course. They are hard to beat at 3100 fps.
My shooting buddy shot them in his 6.5x47 also and had 2 nodes. One at 41 grns and one at 44.

123gr Scenar bullets + H4350, using a col of 2750" 41-42grs would be OK, according to Quickload 44grs is about 9000PSI over pressure and about 11% Overfill.
dooley

I'm running 40 gns of 4350 with the scenars through a 25" barrel on mine. Have been up to 42 gns without pressure signs but 40 is the sweet spot for mine. Probably a little slow by some standards but it's what the gun likes & shoots lights out when the operator hasn't had to much coffee. lol. Good luck.

Thanks for the replys just wanted to see if anyone had good accuracy with this combo. I'm going to start at 40 and go up to a find a good spot then move seating depth until I hopefully find a good spot. Is it just me are all these damn bullets keep going up and up. Damn hobbies all of them are expensive it seems. Thanks again guys

Do these bullets like to be in the lands. My bergers liked to be just grazing the lands. Tried some different loads today they were so so what I couldn't figure out was my es and sd wasn't that good es 25 sd 17. I as using loads between 41.5 to 42.5 of H4350 and put them just on the lands. Didn't liked to be jump. Maybe I need to put them in the lands a little or try some varget. Groups 1/2 to 1/4 at best. Still don't understand es or sd. Maybe my chrony is a POS. Looking for suggestions.

I used the 123 Scenars a lot in my first 6.5 x 47 barrel... They LOVED to be about 7-8K into the lands.. At least in my rifle.. Ironically, in this barrel (my 3rd one) the 123SMK's love it there too!!
