12 caliber shooters on this website?

I wanted to check to see if there were any 12 caliber shooters on this website? The Saubier website has been down for some time now and wanted to see if any of the 12 caliber shooters are using this site in its absence. I'd like to still be able to trade load date on the small calibers if any of you have made it over here. If anyone knows another small caliber website could you please forward the information on? I'd really like to keep in contact to share load data and supplies.

Thanks and as always stay on target,

Carl C.

Carl, got a 14. I had thought 12 barrels disappeared long time back.
my Cooper has a Lawrence bbl, seem to recall he did/ tried 12’s and were one hell of a challange.

I have not seen 12 caliber or 10 caliber barrels available for several years now. 14 caliber barrels are still available but in limited supply. A lot of the old barrel manufactures that produced the small bore barrels have given up the trade. Out of the four 14 caliber barrel manufactures we work with only 1 is still producing barrels at this time.

Its kind of sad to see the small calibers fading away. The niche market that they fit and really thrive in is growing rapidly while the supply is fading away. With large safe shooting expanses getting harder and harder to find the small calibers are needed more and more. With their very high bullet speeds, lack of ricochet, reduced extended travel, lower noise and near zero recoil it makes them much better suited for many shooting areas these days. For a lot of depredation hunts we do they are a must.

I'm working on a 12 Squirrel now. I'm trying not to shoot solids through it as this is the last 12 caliber barrel I have. The solids tend to wear out the riffling's much faster then jacket bullets. I reduce a lot of jackets down to 14 caliber but reducing jackets down to 12 caliber has been a challenge. I think its worth the extra work though as getting another 12 caliber barrel looks to be pretty difficult these days.
