10mm pistol loads

Try 14.0 grains of Accurate #9 with standard primer and 180 grain Hornady XLT for what you want swampthing. Very accurate in my 10's.
+1 for me.

Here is my 2011 10mm I'm finishing up. Holds 21 in the mag. 3lb 8oz. I made the comp/sight block out of 1 5/8" prehardened 4140 bar stock.

a) My stock 1995 Glock 20 10mm barrel limits in work up by case support.
The feed ramp intrusion into the chamber is 0.25", leaving 0.070" of thin case wall unsupported and limits the pressure to ~37 kpsi in Quickload.
b) My aftermarket KKM barrel feed ramp only intrudes 0.20" leaving 0.020" of thin unsupported case wall and leaves the pressure maximum limited by the primer pocket.
c) The stronger small primer pocket of a 40sw, even with shorter overall length, with 0.18" feed ramp intrusion, make a higher velocity possible than with 10mm large primer pockets.

10MM is too fast for plated bullets if it's running at half throttle or more.I've seen pretty big differences in accuracy from bullet to bullet.Mine likes 180 grain XTP's and AA-9.I just got a couple pounds of Power Pistol but haven't loaded any for the 10 yet.

I use long shot with 155 Barnes all copper hollow points. Accurate in my 1911 and 2011 10mm. Looter control load down here in the bayou.

What velocity are you seeing ?
I cant believe buffalo bore has discontinued they're 180 jhp in 10mm.
I've searched everywhere for just 2 boxes. Lol
It's the fastest 180 jhp load I've seen to date.

The most powerful 10mm load is with a throated [for long OAL] 40sw chamber [stronger small primer pocket], full case support, 200 gr bullet, triple compressed 800X powder charge, and loaded ammo resized to drop in chamber.

Recoil is horrendous, even with a triple recoil spring assembly.
