$10k rifle... but homemade target with Sharpie scribbles

Do you prefer a Sharpie or Ball Point? :)

big fat sharpie! lol
actually both. if you get creative you can make your own that taper in to a ball point. and maybe even ass a tiny circle?
but the thickness mostly depends on yardage and scope power. but don't go too thick , like fatter than caliber so a boolot cant hide in it. cuz ya might think you missed? and that sucks.

or you can shoot staple legs like you do

I use walmart smiley face stickers. I asked a lady I knew that worked there if I could have some. She smiled, tore off about two feet, set the two feet down on her workstation, then she handed me the 6”dia roll. I have a lifetime supply of target dots

Who spends ten thousand on a rifle and scope?
I spent $3345 on rifle components and Vortex 4.7 -27X razor scope on sale so I bought two.. . And another rifle for about $400 less. I already had the actions and did the machine work myself. One even has an Area 419 competition muzzle brake, and 2 Dasher mags, and a Dasher reamer.
But I buy the little stickers to put on a piece of cardboard...or a paper plate with target stickers...cheap...and at long range ... a rock face on a mountain cliff..wait for the impact...spot dust, and adjust. I don't do expensive targets, either...but those leave a bit to be desired...just a little more effort, would show that you are somewhat serious about it.

If he can shell out the money for a $10K rifle, he can afford to use whatever targets he likes. Maybe his kid drew them for him. I've learned that people with plenty of money do what they want and don't care what others think about it.

And a dollar a bullet it is pretty cheap I think.

Spends literally thousands on a rifle & optic, plus $1 per round... But uses homemade targets with scribbled circles for evaluating load development and accuracy testing.

Come on, cheap-o. At least print off some free online targets on the copier at work, like the rest of us.
I know what you mean.
I'll use a $1 paper target over and over. lol

There are plenty of Free targets on our target page.

And here is a target I created some years ago. It has been very popular.
IMPORTANT: Set your POI high leaving the cross in the middle unobstructed.

I've used left up targets, picked them out of the garbage, taped different parts of ones on a backer of a used one, drawn dots, used reflective trail marking push pins, stuck a gob of surveyors tape in a hole, things that looked like sequins that were in my fly tying stuff. Sometimes ya just do what ya gotta do. But, what is done there, that really is not something I'd draw on a target.

I've seen it on the trap field. 20+k for a shotgun, piss and moan when their reloads with picked-up hull don't work!!!
