Two (contradictory) thoughts:
1- stay with what you've got. That's the targets.
2- In my experience (before they changed the target to have a larger meplat, and thus lower BC) the two shot the same, iterchangeably, even. Provided I reset my seating die as needed like I always do when switching lots, anyway. Since they shoot the same, use the one with the higher BC, the hunting. Plus, you want to use them hunting, so get the hunting, make the switch over, and you're set.
There isn't much reason to shoot the 105 VLD target, unfortunately. If you want to shoot the 105 VLD, go with the hunting for the higher BC. If you're worried about blowing up bullets (because of a very worn barrel, or a bigger-than-BRX cartridge--I never had one go missing with any of my BRXs), then the 108 has a higher BC than the 105 target, the thicker jacket, and tends to be less finicky.
So, to answer the question, go with the 105 Hunting, and I'd expect the same load (and seating depth measured at the ogive--but that might require a seating die adjustment) to shoot just as well with the hunting as it did with the targets.
(Note, the 105 is the only case where the hunting and target bullets are externally different, but it matters enough that, combined with Berger's other offerings, the 105 Target isn't the best option)
