1000 yard ranges for practice and compeition in Texas or Oklahoma?

I went to OutBack Precision Rifle Range this weekend. I was very impressed with place! Goes out to 2400 yards, lots of ranges, position on about 500 acres of a huge ranch. It was cool to just take a camera and explore the sights.

How difficult is it to build a 1/4MOA rifle or less? Just curious, as it seems common at Outback.

1/4 moa all the time can be a challenge. It is all part of the system, the gun, barrel, ammo, the trigger puller, what happens during a string of fire...

It can be done. The 6.5 creedmoor I helped my brother with is a solid .3 moa gun all the time. My 308 is a solid .25gun.

Does anyone out there have any coyotes that I can shoot at that far in distance?

0800 start time Saturday and Sunday, out to 1000 yards 80 rifle, 50 pistol if I remember correctly
