We had a real fun day this past Sunday shooting 1000 yards at SVSC. We shot on ShotMarker Electronic Targets for the first time - it look like a bunch of kids with a new toys! It was great seeing everyone helping new shooters and everyone working together learning the new electronic scoring on the iPads. Shooters really like seeing their shots come up on the iPad screen and those shooting on different relays were able to follow their friends/competitors as they shot.
We had eighteen guns on the line at one time but ran 3 relays of 6 shooters each - where each relay shot 2 5-shot targets - a total of 6 targets per shooter for the match. There were enough benches where each shooter didn't have to rotate benches or move any gear. Lots of positive feedback from the shooters as this was a new/different format from our traditional monthly registered matches.
