You’re going to have people telling you that a 1:8 would work for those bullets, but I would build a zero freebore 12 twist if it were me.

Ran 55gn Noslers in a 9tw .243, wasn’t the optimal twist but worked amazingly well, never had a problem with accuracy over stabilising.. A 10-12twist will work well with the 80-68.. IME

I have a 6mm BR built on a Rem 700 S A. It is a 10 twist/ zero freebore and it shoots the 64gr Berger column bullet real good as well as the 68 gr Berger.

I did very well with a pair of 10 twist 6 BRs in matches from 100 to 500 shooting Berger 80 and 88 bullets. VV 135 powder. I think your right on with the 10 twist.

I have a Cooper 6br 1x10 , have NO problem shooting up to 88 gr Bergers. You should be good to go. Just my two cents Tommy Mc

I shoot the Barts 80 grn in a .060 throat 1-12 twist.

33.5 grns of Accurate 2495 gives around 3450 FPS with great accuracy.
