Your doing that with a 1022.Must be a Joe Chacon build.I guess our perseptions may differ...you requested a good scope under $200 to punch paper with a 10/22. I can get 1/8 - 1/4 moa groups at 100 yards using my weaver classic 3-9×32.
Do you have pics of this rig ? What ammo are you getting these groups with, must be the magical combo ?I guess our perseptions may differ...you requested a good scope under $200 to punch paper with a 10/22. I can get 1/8 - 1/4 moa groups at 100 yards using my weaver classic 3-9×32.
$ 700 ? C'mon man, 500 dollar difference...Quote: Looking for recommendations on a scope for a 10/22.This will mainly be a paper puncher.Trying to stay under 200.An idea. I put picatiny rails on all my guns, I swap a 10-50x sightron across a few of them. High quality magnification and focuses as close to around 10yds. I saw one for sale here yesterday for $700. I know it's not in your price range but you might consider consolidating a few scopes.
No harm, was my attempt at humor and a little sarcasm...nothing else intended. Ya never know about these scope searches,I usually end up with something way more money than I intended to spend in the beginning. My latest 10/22 scope purchase is a Weaver V24...a little over the OPs budget but it's not bad for entry level. He may already have another scope on another rifle he can swap over.
Just thinking of options not trying to upset anybody.
