It is no longer known as "fathers day". By E.O. # 3454 it shall now and forevermore be known as "non-birthing parents" day. And will be celebrated by flying the new "multi-cultural" woke flag at half staff because males have been dominate for too long. Gestational parent day ( mothers day in the past) will be a new federal holiday, one of nineteen more to be added next year. God help us. Bad news is we are loosing Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Veterans Days.

Same here. Got the two expected calls from the long distance daughters. Today's agenda includes some airgun shooting and cold brew leading up to elk kabobs on the grill later.:cool:

Oh yeah, 42 yr. old #2 daughter tells me she had a "hold my beer" moment yesterday and falls off a &#%!*@ skate board. Right arm is now in a sling. We did our best bringing her up.:rolleyes:

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there and if your father is still living, go pull some weeds out of his garden, mow his grass, cook him dinner or do some little job that will give him more free time. The important thing is to spend time with him. Mine's been gone for twenty eight years and I still miss the things we did together.
 
Alas, my father has passed.
Today for me, i went to the range this morning.
Needed to fireform cases for my freshly built Savage 111 in 257 Roberts AI.
My daughter & 7mo old grand daughter are on their way to spend the remainer of the day.

Couldn't ask for much better!

I’m not 100% sure what “woke” means, nor do I care. I think a lot of stupid, fringe ideas would go away faster if people could quit talking about them all the god damned time. We need to quit giving a handful of extremists all of our attention. I would be willing to bet that very few people on this site think that California wildfires get started by Jewish space lasers. Quit giving dipshits a platform.

Also- happy Father’s Day. Go get a ribeye dinner.

hilariously you are too caught up in a political rant about the disrespect of Father’s Day to once wish anyone a happy Father’s Day yourself.
 
Happy Father's day! I've been given a list and have been told we're dragging the kids over to great grandma's house later. I just wanted to work on a rifle stock. Oh well.

I’m getting ready for a colonoscopy tomorrow and that’s where that goes. All dip stick thinks he has to do is pass an E.O. and it will be so. Thanks, I needed that, very funny but unfortunately true way the left thinks. Happy Fathers Day. Mine is still living at 87 years old and doing good.
 
Well I posted at 10 it is now 1:30 and so far my quiet day has not happened, first time I sat down since I posted.
I guess having a house, wife, and 2 daughters means no restful days when they are home.
It seems they always have something for this old man to do. The only restful weekends are those when I am at the range shooting a match. I wish there were matches every weekend around here.
