Sadly, my good friend and shooting buddy lost his dad this past Thursday. Today is gonna be really rough on him.
I lost my dad over 50 years ago and I think about him every day. I was born on Father’s day in 1950 and I know it was a special day for him every year. He taught me how to shoot and hunt and I have always cherished those memories. Im taking my grandson to our range next weekend to shoot his first 600 yard practice match along with his mom and dad who are great shooters in their own regard.
Life is good.

This morning on our way to church my daughter commented she had forgotten to get me a Father's Day card. I told her I don't need a card. I got you and your family!

For me this was the best father's day weekend. Both of my son's drove 5 hours on Friday to come home. On Saturday we shot trap,skeet,handguns, & rifles. On Sunday both boys competed in our local long range match. Oldest son place 3rd in the ar class. Youngest son placed 2nd in light gun. Proud father of both son's!

I liked your post, but I didn’t really like it, just that I understand, this is my third Father’s Day without my dad.
