1:11 or 1:10 twist for a 20 cal

I have put on 7 or 8 20 cal 11 twist Benchmark barrels. One 204 Ruger and the rest 20 tac. Four of them shot 5 shot groups in the zeros at 100 yards with 39 grain Blitzkings. One of them preferred 40 grain Berger and two of them shot in the high teens. I love Benchmarks 20 cal barrels.
What load do you shoot in the Tac and the 204 ?

Hal

Make that 20P sing with either a 10 or 11 twist. Use Randy's BIB 40s. Accurate out to further than one would expect.

In the 204 I was shooting R10 at 3700fps with the 39 blitzking. In the 20tacs I shot AA2520 or 8208xbr at 3675 with the 39 grain. I never could never get the 40 vmax or 40 grain noslers to shoot under 1/2 inch.

My 20 VT shoots well under .1 with the 11 twist and N-120 and this little round wont ever wear out this barrel
"Well under .1" means you're shooting groups well in the zeroes. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it does tend to strain credulity...

Went back thru my records. The group measured .09” and the the next 2 top groups measured .12” and .14”. The worst group shot was .2” and all Measured with my dial caliper
