Compared to other "sports", such as auto racing and bass fishing, it would seem to me it's pretty economical.

No less then $10 grand. After first match, add another couple of

If your in to the serious part, reloading Equipent and supplies are going to be a major part of the deal. I would imagine ten grand would be in the ballpark now for a start.

All in all, not huge investment, like I said, compared to racing and bass fishing.

Of course, the learning curve getting to the point of needing that type of equipment adds tens of thousands of dollars over the years.

I'm glad I'm over those humps and on the other side. Rimfire gets most of my $$$$ these days.
F Class is seldom these years but we hone our pdog skills occasionally because this is where our interest are these days.
All of this has nothing to do with a $1000.00 factory rifle for 1000 yards

There are other cartridges offered in this rifle with decent factory ammo to carry you to 1000 yards and beyond.
Just to offer a tidbit, you will definitely ring out more accuracy if you're loading for it.

But this does.
Someone else mentioned the Tikka, that's another good one.

This was fired at 1000 yards from a factory-barrelled Ruger Precision Rifle in 6 Creedmoor. The F class ten ring is 10" At the time, the rifle was purchased for $1000. Can you tell I choked on the last shot?
