I got thrown off years ago because I had the audacity to suggest that painting a $4000 rifle in Krylon camo wasn’t a great idea.To truly be hated on with a post concerning a Savage rifle ( and with the possible exception of a Tikka just about any factory rifle short of something like an AI ), you really have to go to Sniper`s Hide.
Some of the guys on there take themselves entirely too seriously. It`s amusing ( and often amazing ) how grown men can sometimes get themselves so wrapped around the axle over inanimate objects.I got thrown off years ago because I had the audacity to suggest that painting a $4000 rifle in Krylon camo wasn’t a great idea.
I lit a bonfire on Snipersden the other day when I started a post stating my $1000 Savage Axis II Precision rifle can be accurate and posted a pix of a shotgun shell I hit in the primer from a 100.yards. Almost immediately they came out of the woodwork like roaches after me. The comments were filled with gay sex innuendos and comments most boards would never tolerate. They got very personal, and I fired back, drawing more out of the woodwork and comments got even more outrageous. It's already 12 pages of them going into grand mal seizures of tourettes syndromeSome of the guys on there take themselves entirely too seriously. I`ve been interested in the Bergara HMR line but have been seeing some bad quality reports of late. Gives one cause for pause.I shoot with a guy that has a Bergara in 6.5. He shoots quite well with factory ammo.
I recently sold a .308 HMR and bought a tikka 6.5cm and put it in a KRG bravo. In the end they are similarly priced riflesI`ve been interested in the Bergara HMR line but have been seeing some bad quality reports of late. Gives one cause for pause.

Most good Scopes cost $1000 plus.If anyone is shooting regularly to 1,000 yards ( or even beyond! ) with a stock, factory rifle costing less than $1,000, would appreciate input. Brand, model and caliber? Rifle only. Thanks much in advance for your feedback.

Just about out of Pop Corn.
That` s a rather profound comment indeed.Being in the world is exhausting.
That's why we aren't supposed to be in the world.
Wait till you see how they act over $25 in bore cleaner to clean their $6k rifle. I don't know if it's their age or what but it's pretty funny. Some of the guys on there take themselves entirely too seriously.
