I need to quit reading this forum......

In 2013 I did not own a center-fire rifle and had only shot a CF rifle once in my life (a 300WSM 5 times). Now I'm afraid to count my holdings in case my beloved asks how many I have, so I can honestly answer "I don't know". . Drew

    Mirage Tube Adapters???

Tried mine for the first time on Sun. Worked great although I had it too loose at beginning and the 308 bucked it loose after 3 shots .

    New Berger .224 Bullet

Another small update. I took my now 1x fired brass up to see the max. At 24.80 gr of N140, 100% of the primer pockets failed the pin gauge test after firing. Did not get to Chrono as I went indoors and the reverb makes to LR go haywire. Guessing a shade over 2900fps. 24.70 lost 40% of the...

I point the 90s. I will not be pointing these.

I should also mention that the metplats are very tiny, so I'm guessing that Jeremy's catch about that they might be "pointed" is true.

    New Berger .224 Bullet

Did some work today, also. Chose N140 because that what was next to the scale. Reassembled rifle just for this test. Issf reamer, 4groove, Bartlein heavy palma, 1:7, setback at 1800 rounds now with 200 more on it. Probably 28.5inches. Only took 29 total shots which was a crude powder test...

    New Berger .224 Bullet

Haven't gone past the 308 yet, but 20VT,204R,223R,6BRX,6.5CM (gasp!),6.5x284, 6.5x47L,6.5WSSMAi, and 308W have all been doable. Some easier than others, to be honest.

    New Berger .224 Bullet

Yep, did buy sight unseen, but I've had terrific luck with Berger Bullets through the years and have always gotten them to group well without exception (in nearly every caliber i use (224, 244, 264, 308) and many weights) and have always regretted buying less than 1000 to test. If nothing else...

    New Berger .224 Bullet

My writeup on 90s blowing up. Still my working theory. An oldie but a goodie. Been awhile since I posted this, perhaps it's timely again. I wrote this about my 90 blowing up experience to Greg (Nedd Ludd here). Back in the day (ca. 2015)...

Joy Pod Replacement Pivoting Feet ?

I purchased these this year after using the Joypod since 2014. They are exceptional. My rifle tracks much better, esp on uneven terrain. Drew

    N140 or N150 for 90s in .223?

In barrel that has the 90vld going 2835 and the 90lrbt going 2790 with varget, I could only reach 2714 with near primer piercing. The sweet spot seemed to be 2685.

    N140 or N150 for 90s in .223?

I've tried n150 with Berger 90s recently (discontinued lrbt) and they were very accurate, but couldn't get the speed out of them that varget allows before hitting pressure.

Pierced a primer, now it won't shoot. What to check?

My understanding is that you will notice it easily once you look for it. So sounds fine to me.
