He shoots them pretty good to!Bart is a good option and ya might try @prologr too. He's making an excellent 22 cal bullet as well.
Yep. I know a lot of guys that have built guns around Danny's bullets. They do shoot good!He shoots them pretty good to!![]()
I'm not criticizing just seeking enlightenment. If you're only shooting to 200 why use a 6MM?100,200,

That is the reason when you find "the one" you buy 3k or 5k of them! And always best to have a back up plan if your best favored bullet is out
of stock everywhere, and a match is coming too soon.....
I don’t compete and in the field on varmints at short ranges like this the 223 has no problems.I think the light 6’s hold the records at 100 & 200 yds.

How long did it take Tony to figure out what his "pet load" was?A lesson should be learned from Tony Boyer....If his pet load did not work that barrel was not a competition barrel. I am a believer.
For varmints a 40 grain VMAX moly. If the weather cooperates, (low wind and mild rain, nothing more) head shots on chucks at 350 work.David,
What bullet are you using in your .223 ??
I can not answer that but after my first 3 barrels done with my reamer by the same gunsmith I paid attention.A lot of barrels get a bad label from guys developing a load with out flags in my opinion. When I read often that guys have 3 00 or 400 rounds shot and no load I think 2 things. First they have no process and secondly they are shooting without flags. How long did it take Tony to figure out what his "pet load" was?
If you are sorting bullets from a custom maker, you are either wasting time or need a different bullet maker! Just my opinion!I shot best groups Iv shot in a long time with the New 65g Bt Barts. Them some good bullets. They gave a wide node of accuracy window. And I didn't sort any of the bullets.
Shot a test of 34 bullets. Every single bullet made a group with no flyers. I am happy with these.
?If you are sorting bullets from a custom maker, you are either wasting time or need a different bullet maker! Just my opinion!1-2 and 300 yd. I don't shoot long range, so can't say on that
