Buy a scope and then a scanner.
640 for sure.
Nocpix prettt much has the world by the tail right now, and they have a slim 640 for $2500. You’d need a different base for it if it’s going on a bolt action.
I’m using an ACE H50R and scanning with a slim, which is also sighted in (QD mount) on my 22 for vermin.
I personally wouldn’t consider a centerfire scope without a rangefinder. It’s impossible to judge distance in a thermal. That’s why so many guys have used giant cartridges and small bullets in the past. We don’t have to do that anymore.

This is 227 yards. I would have thought he was about 80.
