Torque Wrench Which One?

Need to purchase a torque wrench for small jobs, tighten scope bases, rings, install optics on pistols etc. looking for recommendations.

Thanks

I have the Wheeler Fat wrench, no issues, seems accurate enough for my varmint rifles. I just received a few weeks back some of the Fix-it stick torque tools, just because I wanted 'em. I was putting a new stock on a RFBR rifle over the weekend, and did a rough comparision between the two on the action screws. I set the actions screws at 25 in/# with the Fix-it, and then tried the Wheeler, I could not see the action screws move before the Wheeler tool broke free so to speak.

Or get one designed for push bikes. Smaller that automotive and can ususally be found on auction sites. I got mine used from a local supplier. 1/4 drive. You don't need much accuaracy - so long as the torque is consistant.

I have both the Wheeler FAT wrench and the fix it sticks. I find that I use the fix it sticks about 95% of the time.

I'd love to see a test of various brands of torque wrench's and how accurate they are. I've had a gunsmith tell me that the FAT wrenches can be pretty inaccurate. (that's what I use at the moment.)
