Prarie dog shooting bench

Anyone have any recomendations for a decent shooting bench?
Anyone have one that rotates made with an axle stub and hub?

I hit send too soon
I covered the table top with carpet
And also use a seat cushion
I used a graphite paint on the rotation parts.
We put it in a trailer and pull the trailer with an ATV.
It has worked very well for a number of years
 
Simple DIY project with minimal tools

Half sheet 3/4” plywood…glued/screwed together..

Right or left shooter cutout or both…top cut to 38-40” length

Pipe legs are 1 1/4” diameter about 30” long…three is all you need

Black threaded 1 1/4” pipe sleeves cut to 15* angle (or contact Loni that builds em)

Welded to a 1/4” 4x4” plate and 4 mounting holes drilled

The leg brackets is the only hard thing for most to obtain

Don’t complicate by having a rotating/swivel top

Remove legs for east transport

Been using one for 25 plus years…along with a spare in gun room for cleaning etc

There's a 2x2 on the bottom for the foldable workmate to clamp to. I've put cement blocks on the bottom to add even more stability. It all stores pretty easy as the top comes right off and the bench folds up flat.

One of your requirements was that the bench rotate. In my experience and the 5 of us that shoot together, rotation is an absolute must. When the next gopher or prairies dog pops up 30 degrees left of the last one, just rotate, no need to move the chair, move the front rest, rear bag, spotting scope or clear the top of the table. The commercial table at the top of the replies works well, some of the guys have them. Most of ours are shop made with a 'home made' design. We have been shooting P. Dogs and sage rats for many, many years, bench rotation is a MUST!! We also use a platform built on the sides of the pickup bed with 2 benches mounted to it. This puts the gun about 8' above the ground. It is a safety feature and an aid to seeing P.D. or sage rats. Everything needed fits in the bed and is secure and out of sight, with a tailgate lock.
 
If you're building your own to save $$$ ask @Lonny in ID if he's still selling his excellent brackets. Those are wonderful, then it's just a trip to HD or similar to get the pipe and plywood.
 
We have been using benches made by DOA shooting benches for many years. Highly recommend them. If you build your own or buy one, make sure it swivels, sure a shooting, the Pdogs will be to your right or left and you will get tired of picking up the bench and moving it. We went on a guided hunt with the owner of the company and used his benches. We each bought one.

I did build a receiver mounted table in the 90s that would fold up but sold as I like just shooting from the beds extra height. I could revamp this one.
I use a step stool to get in, out if bed, lots easier.
I don't sit in 1 spot all day and move many times.

I just slide the bipod. That usually gets me about 25 degrees of lateral.

I've seen those fancy rotating benches. They seem cool....but...

Personally, I don't want my big self sitting connected to my bench so if I move my bench moves. I will take a bench and stool every time.
