Fix for chip in chamber

Never seen this one before. First thought was possibly a miniscule chip out of a flute at the neck/shoulder junction of the reamer, but that would be cleaned up by the other flutes. No clue how that raised pattern in steel could be created by a rotating reamer. Can your borescope do right-angle imaging rather than straight-on? It should be obvious if you can get a right-angle view and spin the barrel around it at the shoulder.
My thought was a little to fast on the feed, maybe not enough cutting fluid. Might have been chattering right when it stopped cutting. I will see if I can get a different angle.

This is correct. What’s causing the mark?
As the case exits the chamber it pivots to the right where it hits the corner of bolt lug way. This is seen frequently. I always polished that corner when I trued up an action to reduce phone calls. You can do one or both, polish that corner or reduce the tension on the ejector spring to reduce the pressure on the case.

^^^^
For a quick check, remove the ejector and try a piece of unmarked brass.
