Bedding XP100 Nylon Stock?

Has anyone successfully bedded the original brown nylon XP100 stock? If so, I'd love to see some pictures and a description of the process. I did a search and didn't come up with much. Seems like there are a lot of hollow spots to fill. I don't mind adding a bit of weight it it makes it shoot better.

I know there are a few aftermarket wood and fiberglass stocks available but new ones are out of my current budget. I got a used one off of here but the bedding was hosed up and I'm in the process of trying to save it. I like how the original XP100 stock fits my hand and would like to try to improve it's bedding and float the barrel. Has the original 7BR barrel on it for now.

Theyre so flimsy I would think it would be difficult to get the bedding to stay in there long term. Ive got this wood one for sale if youre interested

That's why I'm looking for someone that's done it before. I have some ideas to make it stronger but hoping to get some been there done that type feedback.

Your stock is pretty sharp but I'm already hip deep in reworking the one I have. Need to be able to get my money back out of it. Too expensive to use as kindling.

Good luck. It may be very difficult to do. THese stocks are not strong. I had one on a .223. Shot massive amounts of groundhogs in 2-3 years. The stock started shredding lengthwise & was totally ruined in a few weeks. Was unable to be saved by SSK.

That's one of the reasons I want to reinforce it. So it lasts, as well as hopefully shoots a bit better. A couple of the seams look a bit loose on the inside and the forend flexes more than it should.
