Interesting, have you used one for rimfire?

Since Anschutz barrels/rifles seem to be excellent shooters, does a tuner on these fine barrels really gain anything?
Anschutz bbls are nice, Custom match barrels are nicer.
About 99% of those wear tuners…should tell you everything you need to know.

I had Harrells bore one for an CZ MTR--I asked for a tad more room so it would go on and off easy without marring the barrel--It has worked like a Dream! Took about three boxes of ammo and an hour to find the magic setting--I have had it on and off many times--I have tested the best setting in lots of conditions so far --I am amazed at how the thing is working! So far ammo with similar speeds are reacting the same--they are nice round small groups. This particular MTR was not my best one out of the box but it shines with that tuner. The ordering and dealing with Harrells could not have been easier. I am thrilled with it.
My setting turned out to be 300 out on the nose--some fellow local shooters are reporting between 275 and 300 for the same rifle and set up.

It was pretty easy to set up I started all the way in and shot 3 shot groups going out 25 at a time until it knotted the groups --when it looked great I kept going until it opened up again--this was easy to see.
I went back to the promising zone and tested in smaller increments until I zeroed in on my number. It seemed too easy so I kept testing on different days and conditions--the 'happy " setting kept repeating excellent results. I then used some other ammo that was very close in chrono tested speed. It responded the same. I have since tested by moving it a click or few at a time--it is astonishing how just a few clicks can upset the results.

I am very happy with the Harrells--best $ I have spent lately --I don't know a thing about tuners and was thinking it would take lots of ammo and time to figure it out but have been very surprised at how simple it was.

Yes. I have two. One is mounted on a CZ547 with a .900 Lilja barrel and the other on my Desert Precision Gunworks CZ547 with a 1.2 Shilen barrel. Both were supplied with 3d printed spacers. You can see the black spacer in the muzzle view pic. Both work well as intended. Pics are CZ DPG.

Looking at the 3d printed spacers... Might they help with deadening the barrel harmonics and therefore improving the tuner function? If I can source the spacers I would be interested in trying them.

these appear to mount flush with the muzzle and all the weight is behind. no weight is ahead of the muzzle. am i seeing that correctly?
