barrel tuner question

I am thinking of tryinng a barrel tuner. I have 3 22RF, 40X, anschutz 54 and a W52B. My question is, can I used one tuner on all three rifles? nilebartram

Depends on the barrel size. Everyone will take a
Different tune. Larry

Larry's right in that the o.d. on all 3 barrels would need to be the same size +/- few thousands for the tuner to fit all.
I'm not sure how the front sights would come in to play either other than they'd need to be removed.
You could possibly buy a tuner & bore to a larger diameter & make 3 different bushings for ea. barrel.
It seems as though what you really want though is a purpose built br platform. There's plenty out there & in the long run you'll be way ahead of the game both financially & less frustrated taking that route.
If you must with one of them I'd use the 40x or the Anschutz. There's more out there for them.

Buy a tuner bored to fit your largest OD bbl and then you can use sleeves to fit it to the smaller bbls. Of course, having someone make the sleeves would cost a good bit.

I've used aluminum flashing or beer cans cut with scissors to shim for a larger tuner. It works fine.
