another 7 prc clicker problem

I have read where the base is small per sammi and most have an issue at the .2 mark from the base. Mine and my sons are at .550 from the base. His gun a Weatherby mine a savage 110. Mine was sent to savage for a repair. They polished the chamber. Now the factory Hornady and Federal will shoot. So will first time ADG And peterson brass. I have a Redding die. my sons is a RCBS and I borrowed a horaday. The Redding will only size the case to .5295 at .550 and all stick after firing. The others will size to .527 some stick some don't. My die is on it'sd way to Redding. Is this the same for most dies.

Bummer to hear you have had so much trouble.
I'm not following some of the details.
Not sure where or why you are getting 0.550 from the base.

The standards are usually for a dimension that is called the 200 line which is basically 0.200" from the base.

I have not done a casting of the chambers or the dies, but the brass comes out just like these specs below and no issues with clickers or bolt forces.

Your values for the ammo should be more like 0.532" dia at a line 0.200" up from the base.
Here are the ammo and chamber drawings if that helps.

If you have a micrometer instead of a regular caliper, it would be better to get into that fourth decimal point.

ETA: Are you loading hotter loads? I would say it is time to cast the chamber if normal pressure loads are giving you clickers.
Do these rigs get clickers with factory ammo?

I could see scuff marks on the case about .5 so I used a blue marker and put the case back in the chamber to verify where is was hanging up. Hope that help. With just that much ink the cases stuck worse. At .2 I don't see any marks.

I’d like to see that chamber dimension at the .200 line .535 or even more like .537 for a .532 case.
Been through this hassle myself and recently talked to another member here with his 7SAUM.
Tight chamber games brings tight chamber problems.
