Beautiful morning at Deep Creek

Great Shooting!!
Thanks for the post Southprarie! if i didnt appreciate the 1K range 10 miles from my house enough these little nudges sure help. that DC sure looks like a Good One. they must have a vehicle to retrieve and put up targets? i found the williamsport range a few years ago so mabie i need to take another trip to Glacier and find DC while im out there. Im becoming to much of a homebody stickinthemud in my old age.
you are fortunate to live out there in MT thats for sure.
Traveling was never a problem in my younger days or even as late as 2020 I drove 8-9 hours a day but the last few years I’m seeing some health issues that hold me down to about 4 hours one way, after that I’m spent.
If you do come out I’ll be glad to show you around.

Take care
Jim

Hunting hasn’t gone well this year, we just haven’t much snow except the really high country but it’s a perfect morning at Deep Creek for getting a barrel on paper and zeroing a scope at 300 yards.
I had the whole darn place to myself… cool

Dammit Jim! We have snow coming down here!

We had another terrific morning at Deep Creek, even though it’s only 600 yard maximum for 3 more weeks I was able to get a chance to put some new equipment to work.
I haven’t figured out the correct rear bag fill or final adjustment on the rudder but WTH it shoots.
Thanks to John and Roger for making the trek.

Lol.
You have no snow, and I am looking at several inches and 15 degrees.
What was the temp. there this morning?
By the way, nice shooting.

We’re around 50 today with very calm winds, a good day for a shake down of equipment. I had a new scope that got its first day at the range also.
Jim

I’ll share another nice crisp Montana morning with y’all.
We had the 1000 yard line open so I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to test some seating depth.

Just the first group. More jump, more vertical, but still under MOA. Not complaining on SD’s or first group at .010” off
