Help with Remington 40-X Stock

I recently acquired a nice Remington 40-XB and was hoping to get some information about who might have made the stock and butt plate assembly as I would like to get a hooked butt plate for it. The original owner is not available to answer questions due to health reasons, so any information is appreciated. Some addition information: the serial number is in the 400xx range, there is no safety, the trigger pull is in the 2-4 oz range and the barrel date code is not visible (I haven't removed the stock yet to see if it's just hidden).

Doesn't look like the Remington stock sold as International 40X (rimfire or Centerfire) as they were laminated. However single shot actions put in these usually had a 2 oz trigger of Hart design. The trigger was mounted on a hanger that allowed some adjustment to the front or rear and had no safety. The buttplate and handstop assembly looks different than the canjar/dunlap ones used on the early Internationals.

I have one of those triggers
From what I can find, Hart made them for Remington for the Benchrest rifles such as the 40x
a VERY sweet trigger, that feels every bit as good as a Jewell
I have not been able to find anybody else who made the bench triggers for Rem other than Shilen may have participated or been subcontracted once in awhile

They use a Walker Body and make the necessary mods such as drilling and installing the 3rd lever
Walkers are a 2 lever design
the 3rd lever design is the same as a Shilen Competition trigger
Mine goes down to 4 oz

Your trigger looks like the Standard Walker, Would guess it is
a split sear with the flat flag style safety ?
Such as pictured below

Put wanted ad on here --there have been some sold at CMP with the hooks--many take them off
One guy at my club took one off the other day i will call him tonight and see if he still has it
