SCHEELS???

I live so close to my local Scheels, I ride my bike over there on the weekends. Bad thing is I buy almost all my stuff online but the powder and have it delivered the next day. They are my go to place for almost everything I buy.

I’m just n Maryland and have bought many things from them, never any problems at all. I’m sure it’s just this busy time of year. I wish they would do online primers and powder, they have some pretty good sales. The other day I thought I saw BR-4 primers for $69. To long a road trip from Maryland.

Scheels is a great family visit and they do have decent pricing but they are not an online store. While they certainly could do a better job online they seem to fall a bit short at times.

Ordered 4500 Hornady 204 VMs and 2000 50 TNTs from Scheels recent Black Friday sale.

Have received all but 17 boxes of the 204s and they are in transit. The 204s came in 10 separate shipments from various stores and the TNTs were drop shipped directly from Speer.

Shipping was prompt and has been satisfactory in all regards.

Scheels is probably the last legit storefront for reloading and guns. I have shot for our local scheels team for the last 5 years. On top of being a great store they give back a lot to the sports they cater to as well as other charities like children and vets. Our store has donated many thousands of dollars over the years and IMO that shows what a stand up company they are. Cant go wrong with them IMO and remember no company gets everything right every time... give them a call and check on your order and let them make it right before getting disgrunteled.

I guess what I really like about Scheel's is that the "floor" employees actually ask if they may assist you. At least at the stores I've been to.
My store I know several of the employees personally and they are shooters and reloaders so you get legit information for the average joe. No doubt we probably dont all agree on things but they are many steps up the ladder for the average shooter and can give solid advice to the masses. Perhaps all stores may not be the same but my local store kills it.

Scheels is what cabelas could be, or any other large box store.

They have a ton of cool stuff.

Want a zero press? Yes.

Want a $6k 2011? Yes

Match grade 22 lr? Yes.

Want to ride a Ferris wheel, okay.

They don’t have everything, but they have a ton of stuff and it’s the “Midwest nice” vibe.

I ordered some Hornady Case lube from Scheels and it arrived 2 days early. From Texas to Parkton NC.

Very happy with the transaction.

We are lucky enough to have Scheels in Sioux City, Sioux Falls and Omaha. The store departments have well trained experienced personnel with good knowledge of what they are helping you with. They come and ask you if you need help with something not the other way around. Scheels is 100% employee owned and it shows.
