SCHEELS???

I have a friend who moved out west from FL. and he raves about Scheels. I was searching for a particular bullet and they had it in stock at a fair price so I ordered them. Here we are 10 or 11 days in, and my order is still “processing”. Is this the usual or an exception? Never had any experience with them before, but they ain’t far from getting on the same list as pt&g is with me. Maybe this is just an unfortunate case. What is your experience?

Scheels is gtg. They just had 10% off on all reloading supplies. Picked up 8.8 of Varget for under $400.

I haven't ordered online reloading supplies from them, I live near 2 locations. Did you have to select a location before searching and loading your cart? I ask because not all stores have the same shelf items.

Black Friday , holiday season , people taking vacations , UPS is short on personel , winter season , snow storms, etc.

How about them days when youd order from an ad in the back of a magazine and itd take months to get your order.

How about buying something from an infomercial ? 60-90 days processing time.

I ordered two Federal Black Box .22lr 1100 round packs on 12/1 and got notice they shipped on 12/2. FedEx shows them on the way from Sparks, NV. My first and only (so far) order with them. Good luck with yours.

Wait 'til you get to a store. They have a Ferris Wheel, and my wife and I rode it. Then we went to their Deli and ordered sandwiches with just what we wanted for lunch.

Scheels is awesome, I miss having one local to me. We had a Cabelas too and I didn't even bother going there unless it was something I couldn't get at Scheels. Their reloading section got absolutely gutted after the merge with BP. Scheels has a better price match too, they'll match anyone unlike Cabellas/BP who will only match an approves list of retailers.

Scheels is definitely not like PTG. They just had BF and CM and I'm sure all their retail locations are a mess.

Sometimes the stuff you buy actually gets shipped from a retail location that had/has it in stock and not just from a random warehouse.

I wouldn't worry about it too much... it will get to you. And if for some reason their inventory system went haywire and they actually didn't have it immediately available, they won't charge you a bogus restocking fee if you decide to cancel your order.

Come to think about it...I hate Scheel's. The last time I was physically in one of their stores, I went there just to pass the time. I ended up walking(purchasing) out with almost $300 worth of ammo for my 17HMR!

You think that's bad, I live 4 blocks away from mine! The one good thing is that they will have discounted items only available in the store and don't show up online. 2yrs ago they had Sierra 175gr SMK.s for $24.99 a box.It was the first time I ever had to use a shopping cart and the elevator!

I mail ordered a rifle from the Great Falls store, very efficient, quick and super service. Their gun departments don't have untrained and ignorant children. Knowledgeable, experienced sales people. On our way through we stopped at the Great Falls store. The optics salesman spent a lot of time with us explaining the difference of two Swarovski glasses. On our return he made a $3000 sale. Now all three of us have the best.
