I've shot 100 yard ten-shot groups in the .5's this season, even a few in the .4's. This morning I shot ten groups including the best one I've seen. It measure 0.583" outside-to-outside, making it under .400".


The lot of Midas I used was otherwise unremarkable. The box from which the rounds that produced this group had an ES of 33.4 fps and an SD of 7.1. The other box had an ES of 46.8, an SD of 8.5. Temps were just above freezing.
Of the ten ten-shot groups I shot, one other was small, in the .5's. The ten groups averaged near .900" with a couple groups over 1".
The rifle was a new Anschutz 54.30, which I've had for three weeks. It is shown below.
