something looks off to me. Was he wearing a bulletproof vest? The way his shirt moved just before the hole in his neck became visible looked almost like the impact was in his chest area and the projectile ricocheted up into his neck. The so called pictures of a shooter seem too convenient also. Sorry to be morbid about this but this might be one more senseless killing that we will never know the truth about. RIP Mr. Kirk

Neighbor told me rifle used is Mossberg 30-06. Mossberg has a "Patriot" in 30-06.. What's the irony in that?

Several sources said it was an older imported Mauser rifle.

Well I'm not going to coexist with queers, transvestites, weirdos and child molesters. I do my best to stay the he'll away from them and hopefully they'll stay the he'll away from me and my family.

One obvious suggestion is to get to the bottom of suspicious guys spotted on roofs at public engagements. Video them for a second, fine, but then call in the police for a close look. But this really means just be vigilant all the time. By “suspicious” I mean to include those who are not suspicious.

No experienced hunter/shooter would look at that rifle and suggest a trained sniper used it. I refuse to co- exist with anyone who believes my death is called for by their religion or their politics. I'm going to say something here that will probably ruffle some feathers. I hope the assassin is found dead soon, so that inevitable 'public theatre' stops before it starts.
What is important is the discussion around dealing with the lunatics who will attempt to kill others for having a difference of opinion.
Until that discussion and a plan of action is implemented and followed, this will continue to happen at political gatherings, schools, social gatherings, churches, etc. It still happens where weapons are banned. Here and abroad. Obviously, that doesn't work. That's not addressing the cause. That's attempting to complicate the reaction to symptoms.

I understand that sentiment. I also dislike the wasted time, money, energy and other resources that will be spent if the shooter is captured. But our Justice System demands a set of steps be followed if a suspect is apprehended and charged. I also respect that.
And we can disagree without killing one another.

THAT'S the difference.

Charlie Kirk never lifted a finger in an attempt to harm another. All he did was challenge their beliefs with facts, reasoning and logic.

The assassin simply could not tolerate being proven wrong. What we should be addressing is, where is that being taught, and how do we return logic, facts and reason to the thinking process?

One does not have to look very far to see the sources. Changing the mentality is far more complicated.

for me, the main reason to capture the shooter alive is to be able to find out if he was verifiably deranged or more importantly, was he working with others. After that, he should be dealt with in a timely manner.

I watched a report on Fox or Newsmax that when TMZ announced Charlie's death you could hear a collective cheer from the staff in the background. Absolutely disgusting.
We lost a brilliant young man.

This is untrue, the room that was cheering was watching a highspeed chase in so cal, which apparently are a rather frequent occurrence. The producer and another guy both came out and made a video and said that those cheers could not have come at a worse time. The video floating around is also chopped and edited to make it seem like it happened right after the producer announced he was dead.

I don't watch MSM because they are pathological liars in my opinion. That being said it's hard to find reliable sources for I formation anywhere that are not biased.

I read a book in 96-97 called Unintended Consequences by John Ross.

It's a work of fiction but there's a lot of historically accurate material in there and the fiction part of it is about a quiet citizenry that has just been "not left alone".

I loaned it to many friends and family to read and asked them to initial the cover page. I just went and looked, there's a dozen sets of initials in there.

R.I.P. Charlie Kirk. You will be missed. No one else has been able to do what you did.

Maybe someone out there will pick up the mantle.

I'm on my second copy, loaned the first one out and never got it back. I hope things never get that far gone.
I've listened to some of the keyboard cowboys and pundits over the shooting of Charlie. Most are so I'll informed on shooting. Charlie didn't have a mean bone in his body and loved to
debate the left and spread the good word.
I saw a picture of the person they are looking for, if you look close at the neckline they are wearing a mask. I hope they get this guy soon and find out who is behind it all.
