We are just 11 weeks away from the match of the year! Tack Driver 6 is still completely sold out and 20 people on the waiting list. We have lost a few shooters over the last few weeks for various reasons but still remain full at 140 registered competitors! Shirt design is in its final stages and this year’s event will be one to remember. Rumor has it a few people might be dressing up for Halloween and some campers might even be decorated. If you want to attend the event “THAT STARTED IT ALL” please send me your name to be added to the waitlist. Hope everyone is preparing and bringing their best gun! See you all soon!
As a matter of fact, I am working on a rifle which be getting tested in a couple of days. I said I was going to shoot a 308 and by golly, I'm sticking to it. This one is a Hart barrel (pretty new, only about 15 y/o). After the initial testing, I'll make the tuner, if I think I need one. I'm on a schedule which should see me hit my peak around October 30th. I have three barrels to try; this is the first. WH
There will be a lot of hot air to go around at tack driver 5

Bart Sauter did that website for the event. I will ask him today.
He said his F-class rifle.
Bill.....Where did you get that directly from, I know Jim had a
conversation with him on a pod cast about bringing a 7mm
but that's all I have heard since I did'nt see anything specific.
Like anything though.....Hold the cards close to the vest......

He said he would bring a 7mm, but I have also heard he is talking to someone about a 6PPC. Time will tell and stay tuned to the live broadcasts if he brings anything other than his 7mm!
Would not be a surprise if he showed up with one of each to test.
Yeah. I did see that one, and 7mm was in the mix, just did not gather
if he would bring his F-Class rifle with a different 7mm chambering
or have Speedy build him something different in 7mm......My thoughts
are always about Jim's idea of having all disciplines coming together.
If everyone shows up with a 6ppc, whats the point. I still will be bringing
one of 284 cats in a UBR type Unlimited gun. No 6ppc shoots F-Class
which Eric is on top of the heap in that arena. The whole idea is, can he
shoot his 7mm rifles tight at 300 meters, and be that discipline to win it ??

Alright here we go! Andy (bottom page) Shifflet has called me out in the gun match on Thursday before the Tack Driver. He is digging out his “Super Shoot” barrel and coming to show me something. He told me to bring my PPC preloaded instead of the 30 preloaded. I will oblige his wish and shoot a LV PPC against him. I even told him I could beat him shooting left handed! Let the games begin!
As I said there we’ll be enough hot air to go around lol
