I emailed them inquiring about obtaining replacement feet for my Radian tripod. Within 30 mins I received a reply requesting my mailing address so they could send replacements. Appreciatively I replied with my info and within 15mins I received the shipping info:

We sent back to Vortex a scope that had a bullet hole through the objective bell.
They replaced it for no charge.
Even with the holes it still worked!

Rifle was a Savage in shop to have muzzle threaded, scope base changed to Picatinny
The barrel was pulled for the work. I reinstalled.
Boss was going to assemble the rest and he checked headspace with a live round (yeah, I spoke sharply to him) because gauge was in other shop. The scope was with other parts vertical in a box at muzzle end.
Went boom.
7mm Mag at 18” range went through the middle of front tapered part. Apparently there are no important parts in there the scope worked fine.
I called customer service and confessed our sins. CS rep said they would replace but we had to send old one back. They would function test and save.
Never ever headspace with a live round. Fortunately the concrete wall stopped the bullet.

I personally know a couple good folks that work there. And yes, there the best. Affordable and great quality products. And Jimmys podcasts are just awesome. Go VORTEX
