The bottle I have is white, a lot more liquidy and runs down the brush. I have to shake it really good to get the thick paste at the bottom mixed up but its still runny.

Same as me, I purchased quite a bit so haven't ordered in over a year

There are two different thorrocleans!

The original one, came in a two bottle deal. The cleaning bottle (white) needed a ball bearing or something added to break up the abrasive that settled hard in the bottom.


What @Old Navy posted is a newer type that is like a thick condiment. Yes it's thicker. Just squeeze it out of the bottle?

I can use mine, just can't get it into the solvent port. I will just add it to the brush first. My bottle is really hard to squeeze. When I was younger I could squeeze it with two fingers.

Yes, completely coating a soft nylon brush sounds like a great way to use it.

Mine was fairly thick at first but seems so watery now it won’t really coat the brush

store the older stuff on its side. when it settles it will be not as deep. i put 2 quarter inch nuts in the bottle, and then shake.

Anyone tried adding the thorroflush to the thorroclean? Maybe watering it down some to reduce the heavy thickness.

I would do the triple action oil I think. It’s pretty good stuff by itself by the way.

A bit of a tangent.
I've been adding a tube of Iosso to a bottle of Flitz bore cleaner but using it on a patch wrapped around a Parker Hale. I'm folding the patch in half to get a nice tight fit in the bore. 10 complete strokes per patch.

1 patch/10 strokes for every 10 shots => throat area to bare metal.

Heard back from Bullet Central already. They said it looks like it needs to be replaced. They gave me a number to return it. I am passing on that. I will just use it as is.

You might can use a little free All to cut it. Free All is a little on the oily side and it cuts a little carbon and does a little for copper.

I think I will just stay with my two grades of JB Bore Paste..
Patch on a nylon brush, a coating of JB, 15-20 strokes, couple of patches of Boretec, “Rinse & Repeat” till clean.
Grey to get things rolling and Purple to finish…
