Here's a new barrel that I started breaking in there's a couple good ones in this test. I normally don't use this type of target to test with but it was handy at the time.

I’ve got some from some my hunting rifles. All at 160 yds. Some of these loads are solid, some could stand some tweaking.

6.5x47. 7 years apart, two or three loads


308 several loads and seating depth test


30-06, couple loads, I think 9 years apart.


7mm-08, several loads.

I'd rather be lucky than good!

Reason: good diminishes with age - luck is age proof!

Yeah !! LOL like I said anyone can get lucky once in a while and have one good target . It takes more than one target to show what you and your gun can do . You should see the other targets that was on this pages before I cut them off .

Lot better than I shot today . But I think my 222 is coming along . we'll see next time to the range .

I'll be a little cryptic. Al has his "Make the the donuts" thread. I may
need to start, the "Rock Candy" thread. Shot a "SINGLE" target early
this morning for a "Very First" time bullet look, in one of my .284 cats.
Yeah, just one target is all you get. I will say, it moved right along at
100 yards doing 3512 fps !!!

Oh, yum! My favorite food. Hard to get here in the East these days. For years we had a French fish monger that sold out of a roadside trailer. He died a few years ago and we are at a loss.
