6 ppc wildcats.

Do you know if it throated to suit your intented use?
Are you using forblong range or short range
?
A 68 grain bullet makes contact with the rifling and is down in the neck plenty still. Have b-o wrote down can't say what it is. I intended to try a little short range br.and to shoot dogs w it. From what im seeing there have been several wildcats that basically a 6mm ppc ai. 6mm firewalker,6grinch, 6tyger,6-40 dune, 6 sandjammer, I don't think this is as long as a 6fat rat,6ar turbo etc. Gonna think that if it was better then ppc for short range br more would shoot it....guys have had 50 years to make it better so im clueless as to what it is really. Thanks for the info

I’m sure Neil could build the die.

SAC uses Neil Jones design and incorporates the shoulder into the neck bushing.

If you go either route

Just get both 40* and 30* shoulder bushings. That way you can use the die for either a ppc or improved ppc/sandjammer

Bought a used rifle, supposed to be ppc. Fireformed 2 cases today looks like 35-40 degree shoulder. So my question is any ideas what this abomination might be? Head space is 1.154 on the fired cases, shoulder diameter is .431. Fireformed case on the left, norma 6ppc case on the rightView attachment 1682903

No engraving on the side of the barrel as to caliber, reamer, neck sizing, or anything???

Head stamp on the case is 6PPC ? WD
