This seems to be an issue with 284 Peterson brass, I’ve been dealing with it this year,bought all new brass over winter. I’m on 3 rd reload and I’m getting clickers so bad I’m beating bolt handle to get it open. I can’t find Lapua so any suggestions. I had same issue with 284 shehane,so I put a straight 284 barrel on. I use a micron sizing die and set bump to about .0025”…

Small base die should ix it. Is it a hot load?
No,50.3 h4350,,2835 fps
I’ve used a rollsizer on them and have 200 line to .4985”

You would think that would have taken care of the issue. I wonder if using a magic marker on a case would provide any insight? Just brainstorming…
