It's that time of year. Let's see those kills.

Okanjati, Namibia

I wasn't looking for a Sable but when we saw this guy by luck actually. I just couldn't pass him up. He was beautiful with great length and mass. I've got one before so I let my daughter shoot this one as her birthday present from me. She made a great shot and I'm very proud of her.

Beautiful hunt there what suppressor are you running and what caliber, would 20K cover a similar hunt,i'd like to give it a go before father time takes his toll. THX,beautiful trophies.

It was designed by the outfitter we were hunting with. We used .30 and .375 cal on our hunt. They were great and made us wish we could use these back home in Hawai'i. Unfortunately, Hawai'i doesn't allow firearm suppressor's. We used them on 30-06, 300 Win Mag and 375 H&H rental rifles.

Yes, you could definitely do a hunt for 20K it just depends a lot on a few things. Where you're flying from, where you're flying to, what animals you want to hunt, travel insurance, trip insurance, rescue insurance, what grade seats you want to fly etc etc. There's a lot to be considered etc so research and Save.

If you have any questions feel free to msg me etc I'd be more than happy to share what I know.

Aloha

It was my kids first Safari it was a blessing to be able to be there with them for their first Safari. And also I forgot it was father's day on our last day of hunting so that was an awesome father's day gift lol

My son almost had a lion attack his PH while they were working on his giraffe. Luckily he seen her just before she pounced and yelled to his guide. If you look at the pic with the lion coming in behind the PH l ranged that shade. It was 12 yds from where the PH was standing.

I would definitely be proud of that young lady, good guidance and direction, taught seldom learned. It's my understanding that no meat may be taken. I'm making an uneducated guess that it all is put to good use by the local folks.

Yes that's correct, no meat may be taken. But nothing is wasted at all. They cook some of it for us and the rest is for the villagers.

Here ya go.

Edit: Cull/management hunts and no taxidermy can be done on the cheap but still give the thrill of an African hunt.

It's that time of year again. Let's see those big and small game kills of the '18-19 season.

First one of the year for me, not a trophy, a doe with the muzzleloader. Will yield some nice roasts, chip steak and lebanon bologna. :)
Yesterday fantastic 100-acre hayfield, long shots all at 200,out to 251 yards, again without the 204,as I was stretching the limits with the 17 hornet.I saw ten,I shot at six, dropped six,two best shots of the day two big boars ,one in the mouth at 200,the other through both ears at 251. All other gh's were at 300 to 350.What a place. The picture with the gh's look at 251 yards brown spot ,best shot of day in the mouth. At 250 yards you're shooting 3.5 inches low.

As I was shutting down the garage for the night, this one started growling down by my chicken coop! I ran to the kitchen, grabbed the mag & ran back down to the coop. It must have heard me coming and luckily it treed. It started to growl again as I was scanning the trees with the predator light! It got a little lead poisoning at about 25 yards for its trouble... Pretty small one to be acting so tough! Now it's a good coon.
