Vv N555 - which cartridges have you liked it in?

Think you'll find it's a pretty versatile powder, much the same applications as H or IMR4350, 308 to 7x57 to 30-06 based cartridges and whatever caliber cases they are, probably has some varying bullet preferences in some cartridges, may be a performer in some, just make it go bang in others.

Tried it briefly in the new 25 X 47 Lapua. Numbers looked good but the M V wanted to tune way down from the VV-N540, H-4350 & Varget. Looked like may not be able to get enough powder in the case due to case fill but I moved on.

Did you try a long drop tube?

I hate using them, but it's made Reloder 16 work well for me in 6.5x47 lapua. I still have about 7 pounds of it left. Too bad Reloder is gone.

No I moved on because I believe even compressed it may not be enough to get me back to the speed of N540 or H-4350 - Varget.
