Bix and Andy comp trigger issue

Clean it following the video.
I’ll give it a try. Great video.

Let’s say hypothetically I still have problems with it and decide to go with a Sidhe trigger. I know I would need a hanger but would it have to be retimed by someone like Borden or Alex Wheeler? Hopefully I don’t have to go down this pathway.

Jim Borden sells the Sidhe trigger as well as the hangers that are timed correctly for his actions. No extra steps. Both the actions and the triggers are machined to the same specs and no tailoring is needed.

Good to know. I appreciate your help. I saw he the two items but didn’t realize that’s how it’s timed.

have seen 2 fail over last years BR. season , nothing worse than a failure in middle of a match.. but i still use my jewels so have little experience with them.

They are a great trigger but they are not a fit a forget item
In f class I took mine off every 500 rounds or so to strip and clean
I’ve now moved all my rifles over to the Fabio Fare LT as I don’t need it as light as the Whisper 2.0 and not had an issue

Does everyone know the original post was from 2024?

What is the best trigger for a Remington type trigger for 4 oz. or less. I'd like a better trigger than a TTDiamond that would just drop in.
Sidhe

I just checked out the Whipsper 2.1 and glad you guys made me aware. Bruno's is in PHX, has them and they seem to be very popular. Out of stock. I like what I have read about them and will check them out. thanks. I have a couple of triggers to check out now. SIDHE BR EVO and Flavio Flair 2.1

The SIDHE trigger is the same 4 lever design but has the added benefit of a cover over the sear to keep dirt and fluid out

You never know what might happen but my close 30yr old Jewels with many thousands of rounds and some blanked primers have been flawless. Once a year a squirt of lighter fluid has kept them running along with good bore guides. I have fixed several for friends. Always the same problem. Either a piece of powder or a visible tiny pics of dirt that required manual removal. Never had the urge to replace with the latest greatest. After close 50 yrs in the auto service business I am a firm believer for the most part in if it isn't broke, don't fix it.

Thanks, I've been thinking about what you said and that is a very good point for me. In N.AZ is is very dry and windy. We can't keep dust and dirt from accumulating everywhere. From what i have gathered the trigger pull on both is really good. Just a little different in feel.
