SAC Nexus press

I just wanted to say thank you and well done SAC. I just purchased my new Nexus press and I couldn’t be any more pleased.
If you enjoy nice tooling save your Pennies . These are not cheap but in my option well worth the price.
I did make a die holder for mine as it was simple to do. Great job SAC

Very nice looking.
In particular I like the handle design and especially the way it is mounted. ( meaning the thoughtful engineering that went into it)
I really like nicely done presses.
Unfortunately no matter which you buy, the groups don’t get one bit smaller.

An upside down Forster Co Ax with a different handle and linkage ............... kinda
You’re not wrong. I’m sure they had that press in mind when designing. This press does have a feature the forester does not. You can set this press for cam over or you can set it for a solid stop. Just change the bottom pucks out.
I won’t say this press loads any better than the forester but it is machined to perfection. As a rifle builder precision minded fella, I appreciate that!

Yes, it's a very well designed and put together tool. . . top grade to go with the top price. ;)

I only have one gripe with the Nexus (a minora one to be sure) because I got so used to my Forster where it was so easy to just not having to deal with changing anything (other than a die that's already been set up, of course). The speed and ease for going from a .308 case to a 6.5 PRC case with the Forster kinda spoiled me. Changing the Nexus shell holder isn't really hard, though can be a little finicky getting it into the assembly, then sliding it in and locking it into place. More than once I've forgot that I had the magnum shell holder in and tried to size a .308 case, surprising myself that I didn't first notice I had the wrong shell holder in.:eek: Fortunately, I didn't do that with a FL sizing die. Other than that, I really do like the Nexus.
