Beautifully crafted br stock by @BJ44BJ.
3coats of straight black dye sanded back with another 3 coats applied straight.
In person it has a very soft flowing appearance almos velvety.

Awesome as always Brett! Thats how I did this blue one. Solid black, sanded back, then a light black with the cobalt blue candy over top.

Honestly just doing as I was asked.
Benjamin has another stock done in black and really likes it, this being his 1st creation he wanted it black as well.

Yes, just curly maple. Brett is an artist and although i have yet to see it in person has made this stock really look amazing. Personally I really like how a melonite action looks in black dyed curly maple. Ive got another one with better figure that I'm working on, that Brett may put some color on but we will see. Here is what Brett started with.
