Larry,Good luck, some of their products have had issues, I wouldn't be a beta tester.
Garmin & Athlon are made in China…next batch both will get it. The Labradar LX is 100 % Canadian so tarif are less…if nothing change - they change sometime every two-3 days - the Lab will end up way cheaper than the Chinese offering - how fast this will happen - depend on Garmin & Athlon stock in US - prior tariffs. The tariffs are going to screw the next batch up big time.
Garmin Xero actually is Taiwan as country of origin. While the tariffs are currently on hold for them they initially were set to be significantly lower than on China. Taiwan is also looking for ways to move more of their semiconductor capacity to the U.S. facilities they already have so they will be able to cut the tariff cost burden of their electronics..Garmin & Athlon are made in China…next batch both will get it. Then why are you replying here? Struggling to see how this comment contributes to the subject? Did I miss something?…I've enjoyed my Garmin so much, not interested in anything else at this time.

I know nobody cares, but I'm still gonna keep my Garmin.
While i agree, theres not a lot of risk so long as you purchase from a reputable vendor and really put it through the paces of testing while still inside the return window. Something goes wrong, send it back for a refund.Larry,
I am with you on this one. I never like to be the guinea pin if I can help it. Wishing the best for all with their new toy.
