I watch Brunos, Champions Choice. most of the well know vendors have waiting list. they fill the list first and usually run out to be able list it on their sites

Just a small added bit of info...as said, sign up everywhere and be ready to buy, but also, when it shows up at one place, it will usually start popping up at other places around the same time. As soon as I start getting notifications, I start checking my list of preferred vendors and buy from them when it shows. It doesn't happen every time but, it happens a lot of time.
The SK/Lapua ammo shortage is the bane of 22RF accuracy shooting today, and it just continues to get worse over the past six years. I think all the chatter about Center-X on the 'net makes it worse - that and the number of shooters who're willing to buy blind without lot testing. But then, what else can you do - if you insist on shooting Center-X, realistically, the only way to lot test today is to sign up on the waiting list somewhere that regularly gets enough of it to be able to lot test for you. I was shooting our state's mid-range CF prone championships Sunday with a guy who is a dealer connected with Capstone, and he told me the waiting list for lot testing at either Arizona or Ohio was 9mo. It's depressing to me, because I remember how easy it was to order in 2-box samples of several lots of SK Rifle Match or Lapua Center-X 8 or 9 years ago. You still had to time your purchases to avoid buying samples when each shipment was getting close to being sold-out, and then not dilly-dally around before getting the samples tested ASAP after receiving them. But it was possible to get some really good lots by doing your own testing. Of course, if you don't have the benefit of access to a good indoor range, then you're at the mercy of the weather, and a prolonged spell of windy/poor conditions could ace you out of getting your testing done in a timely fashion. I really wish things would improve - ideally, to the point where we could lot test at home again. But I don't see that happening, even if Lapua had the resources and the will to double their production capacity. The demand for good lots of ammo has increased to the point where I don't think that the supply would be adequate even if they could double production. Gloom & doom, I know, and I hate to be this way...but what's it going to take for things to get better?

Adam Braverman from Lapua said they got hit by a 10% but will absorb it so cost will not be affected, they already did an increase in the beginning of the new year.

Went to Lapua Performance Center in Mesa Arizona last month. Found the lot my rifle liked, ordered a case. Brunos handled the transaction @ a fare price. Picked it up two days ago. I know its a bit pricey, but if you shoot alot you know you have ammo your barrel likes. Lapua will only test lots they have available.
The test centers have inventory separate from what is available to the retail world. The lots tested have always at least 1 case to purchase.
