Carry advice

I have a small auto .22 that I carry for snakes and varmints while working outside. While on my feet my holster works fine. But when on my 40 HP Kabota the holster/pistol digs into my side. How have you addressed this? Thank you.

I have an in the pocket holster the I use to carry small revolver. Might be something to check out. Don't bother me at all.

Shorten the barrel and the holster. I had the same problem sitting in a stand bear hunting. My S&W 29, in a hip holster, always pushed my belt up. It made sitting very uncomfortable. I switched to a 5" model and it worked out perfectly.

I do the samething whether on the mower or loader, J frame always handy if needed.

Try a different style holster and/or attach the holster to the tractor instead of you.

Same here. Changed to a 5" 629 and much more convenient. My shooting buddy questioned why I chose the 5"...I told him because it isn't the 4" or the 6". He's still scratching his head over that reasoning.

I have one and carry for the same reason. In a jacket pocket if cool or front pocket if warm. Nothing else in the pocket. I do not have a round in the chamber.

A cross draw may work. I carried a Ruger Black Hawk in a cross draw horse back. That way it wouldn't rub on my saddle. I didn't need a quick draw hanging half way down my leg, like on TV.

I use a cross draw set up for my 6” Smith 357 when on my tractor. It works great.

I have a gun rack installed on my ROPES bar on my Kubota.
Slip a AR15 A2 in it and go to bush hogging.
